Debbie's goal in
this recording was to reproduce the many fun times she had
sitting in the kitchens of friends and family singing old
and new songs. Two of the original songs included here were
inspired by the wonderful poetry of Brenda Black-White. The
dulcimer is a "user-friendly" instrument for people who sing
or for those who want to play an instrument solo for the
pure enjoyment of it. It is a peaceful instrument and always
reminds Debbie of the prayer of St, Francis, "Lord, make me
an instrument of Thy Peace..." Enjoy the music and sing the
harmonies or play along on dulcimer or other instruments. |
